Quote

"I selected FLOATING CAROUSEL as our feature presentation at the Living Room Theater in Portland because, a genuine gem, the film was made fiercely independently by two talented and determined young filmmakers who world premiered their work at the Woodstock Film Festival only to be awarded the festival's Ultra Indie award. A true independent success story for these emerging filmmakers who, mark my word, will go on to bigger and better successes in the future."

About Floating

Two 20-something women just trying to navigate big-city life together, a sugar daddy, a jealous boyfriend, a professional cuddler, and a gay cabaret performer collide in this fresh, NYC-set sexy dramedy. In their striking directorial debut, Yale alum actresses Lucy Powers and Delilah Napier deliver a brutally honest and sharply funny kaleidoscope of modern relationships shaped by desire, power, money, and daddy issues. The film blends rising talent with veteran performers like Dylan Baker (Happiness), Jessica Hecht (Friends), Catherine Curtin (Stranger Things), and Michael Cyril Creighton (Spotlight), creating an ensemble-driven gem that feels like a bold, contemporary version of Sex and the City – funny, messy, sarcastic and unapologetically reflective of our confusing times. – Amir Bogen
